VIRGINIA BICYCLE MISSION TRIP

Virginia Beach – Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, 2023
This is WHEEL POWER’s FALL Mission Trip and we will be riding to reach the lost for Jesus all around Virginia Beach. Team members will be supplied with tracts, cycling shirts if needed and the routes are all planned and I will be leading the rides each day. Team devotions and other activities are planned during our week together, see info below. All meals will be at the rider’s choice and expense. We will plan to eat lunch out on our daily ride together as a team. WHEEL POWER will provide bottled water, fruit and snack bars and/or trail mix.Bicycle Rides: most of our riding will be on trails or bike lanes that are well marked. We will be able to get on our bikes and ride out from our campground on most every ride. Virginia Beach is a bicycle friendly town and there are separate walking and biking paths on the Boardwalk – very cool idea!!!__Day 1 & 2 – Boardwalk site-seeing ride & beyond – 25-30 miles
• Neptune Festival is in town that weekend with a parade, booths and lots of music, Art show, sand sculpting, Volleyball tournament, dog show and many more festivities. Check out www.neptunefestival.comDay 3 – Sandbridge beach ride – 30-35 miles
